GreenFaith, a New Jersey-based interfaith coalition for the

mobilize people from diverse spiritual backgrounds to deepen
their relationship with nature and to take action for the
Earth. The GreenFaith Fellowship Program will prepare lay
and ordained leaders from diverse religious traditions
for religiously-based environmental leadership.
This new initiative is the first comprehensive education
and training program of its kind in the U.S.
Fellows in the program will take part in three four-day
residential sessions in varied settings (rural, urban, and
suburban) as well as conference calls, an email list serve,
mentoring sessions, networking within the program in the
region of each Fellow, and substantial reading and writing
assignments. At least twelve Fellows will be admitted to
the first class which will run from the fall of 2007 through
spring 2009. They will be selected through a competitive
application process. The application deadline is Aug. 1.
