GATHER-RING AT THE RIVER
This performance features 30 handbell choirs from churches all over Vermont (250+ ringers). It will be at the Bellows Falls Union H.S. gym, Rt. 5 N. in Bellows Falls, 4 pm on Saturday, April 30th. A free-will offering will be taken.
HANDS ON COMPLEMENTARY HEALING WORKSHOP
Healers from many disciplines will be available at different stations during this workshop on Sun., May 1st from 4 – 6 pm at Congregation Beth El in Bennington. All are welcome. The healers will describe their work and demonstrate its effective- ness. The disciplines represented include: nutritional healing, acupuncture, rolfing, energy healing and more. PRISON MINISTRY CONFERENCE
This conference will be held at Northern State Correctional Facility (NSCF) and at Life in Christ Fellowship in Newport on May 6th and 7th. Pre-registration is required to attend at NSCF on Friday. The deadline for registration is the morning of Monday, May 2. To pre-register, contact Pastor Pete Fisk: 802-899-1437 or email pastorpete@churchatprison.com Pre-registration for the Saturday session at Life in Christ Fellowship is appreciated. The conference begins with check in at 1 pm on Friday at NSCF. The cost is $25 to attend one day or $35 for both days (Friday supper and/or Saturday lunch included). Make checks payable to The Church at Prison and mail in advance to: 60C Starbird Rd., Jericho, VT 05465. For Saturday, checks can be paid at the door.
KOINONIA OF VT PEACE SUPPERS & PRESENTATIONS
Three programs will be held on Mondays in May at the Blue Gentian Lodge at 289 Magic Mountain Road in Londonderry. Each event will begin with a light supper at 6 pm followed by a presentation. Advance registration for any or all programs is important. To register, call Lisa at the Blue Gentian Lodge: 802-824-5908. Cost: $15/person - may be paid at the door.
- May 9 – Rev. Susan Thomas, former co-pastor of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in the old city of Jerusalem will give a presentation on the theme of the relationship of Judaism, Islam, and Christianity in today's world.
- May 16 – Delores Barbeau, MD, has lived in several Latin American countries and will speak about the relationship of health and peace in the world as individuals, as members of a family, as a community and as members of one another.
- May 23 – Loretta Murphy, school counselor at Flood Brook Union School in Londonderry, will discuss bullying and its ramifications, including efforts to prevent bullying with a focus on Positive Behavior Support Programs.

REMINDER: BePEACE FOUNDATION COURSE
The National Peace Academy will hold a four-day BePeace course in Charlotte from June 28 – July 1. BePeace is a practice of coherence through appreciation, and connection to universal needs through empathy and honesty. The course equips everyone- students, teachers, parents... with skills to re- solve conflicts in a manner that's mutually satisfying, and it provides life skills to make positive choices that enrich life. PEACEBUILDING & PEACELEARNING INTENSIVE
This one-week program is for people who wish to create change that is significant, meaningful, and sustainable in communities. THE HOPE OF FORGIVENESS- HEALING SELF, HEALING RELATIONSHIP
This five-day intensive will be held at Metta Earth Institute in Lincoln from AUG. 24 - 28. It is an exploration of forgiveness through the mirror of the natural world. The group (of no more than 12) will meet with the two guides to deepen understanding of forgiveness through teachings, dream work, and personal sharing and will spend time in personal reflection in the natural world. Participants may choose to enact an overnight solo mid- way through the week to deepen the forgiveness work. The leaders, Fran Weinbaum and Wes Burwell, are experienced Wilderness Rites of Passage Guides. Fran is a Spiritual Life Coach; Wes is Hospice Chaplain and Pastoral Psychotherapist.
